Anna Knysok

Anna Kynsok – she was born in Chorzów. She graduated from the Medical High School of Nursing and graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences in the field of Psychology. Vice-chairwoman of the Solidarity factory commission and delegate to the First Congress of the Silesia-Dąbrowski Region. She was arrested in 1983 on charges of overthrowing the ruling regime and publishing illegal letters. She was a member of the Sejm of the 10th and 1st term. In 1997, she was appointed by the Prime Minister Jerzy Buzek as the Deputy Minister of Health and Government Plenipotentiary for the introduction of Universal Health Insurance. From January 2002, she was appointed by the President of Chorzów to perform the function of the Director of the hospital dr J. Rostka. He works at the Polish Nursing Association, and then at the Polish Psychological Association.
